Realistic commitments
We give realistic timeframes for recognition and visas, and tell you openly when a candidate is not a good fit for your facility.
Cranich Care is a recruitment agency for nursing. We select nurses and trainees from non-EU countries, check their language skills and documents, and support each placement until the end of the probation period.
The situation
The number of people in need of care is rising while the baby boomer generation retires. The domestic labour market cannot close this gap on its own. For facilities this means positions stay open for months, teams absorb absences with overtime, agency staff become expensive and, in the worst case, beds remain empty.
Nurses from abroad can help close this gap. For this to work, three things must be right: sufficient German, complete documents and a process that someone manages from start to finish.
2.15 m
nurses will be needed in 2049, compared with 1.62 million in 2019
280,000
nurses will be missing in 2049 at the very least, up to 690,000 in the less favourable scenario
5.6 m
people in need of care are expected in 2035, compared with 5.0 million at the end of 2021

Our approach
We only introduce candidates who have completed our pre-qualification. The checks happen before you invest time in interviews.
Every candidate presents a German certificate at B1 level or higher before we introduce them. This makes onboarding and the next steps of the procedure easier.
Qualification, CV and certificates are on file and reviewed before you receive a profile.
We hold a video interview with every candidate about experience, motivation and expectations, and share our assessment openly with you.
Recognition, visa, arrival and onboarding: we coordinate the steps and remain your point of contact until the probation period has been passed.
You receive a short list of suitable profiles instead of unchecked applications, and one fixed point of contact for the entire procedure.
Fair recruitment
We follow the employer pays principle: the facility pays for the placement, candidates pay no fees and no advance payments. Our processes follow the requirements of the “Faire Anwerbung Pflege Deutschland” quality seal.
We give realistic timeframes for recognition and visas, and tell you openly when a candidate is not a good fit for your facility.
We do not recruit from countries on the WHO health workforce list. Placements from these countries are reserved for the German Federal Employment Agency.
You always know where a placement stands: from the introduction through contract and visa to the first working day.
