Care Beyond Borders

Nurses who already speak German when you meet them

We place nurses and nursing trainees from abroad with care homes and hospitals throughout Germany. Before you see a profile, the German certificate is on file, the documents have been reviewed and we have spoken with each person ourselves.

  • German at least B1, with certificate
  • Complete documents
  • Support until the end of probation

For care homes and hospitals

  • A short list of suitable people instead of a pile of CVs
  • A German certificate at B1 level or higher is on file
  • One fixed point of contact from your enquiry to the end of the probation period
Send a non-binding enquiry

For nurses and trainees

  • Free of charge for you, no advance payment
  • Work in care homes and hospitals in Germany

The pre-selection is already done

In international recruitment, the interview is not what takes time. It is everything before it: reading certificates, assessing language skills, finding out whether someone really wants to make the move to Germany. We do this work before we introduce anyone to you. You only receive profiles we stand behind.

  • German from day one

We only introduce people with a German certificate of at least B1. Handovers, talking to relatives, documentation: the foundation is there.

  • Documents that fit together

Certificate, CV and qualification are on file before a profile reaches you.

  • A conversation before yours

We talk with each person about their experience, expectations and the path to Germany.

Two ways into your team

Registered nurses

Qualified nurses, many with work experience, and German at B1 level or higher. Most join you through a recognition partnership, work in the team from day one and complete their recognition in Germany. We take care of the paperwork with you.

Trainees

Motivated young people with a school leaving certificate and German at least B1 who complete the three-year nursing training with you. This way you train your own nurse who knows your facility from the start.

    Arrive and stay

What you can rely on

Certificate, not promises

With us, the German certificate is on file before you see a profile. No “currently learning German”, no waiting for the next language course.

One contact person for your facility

From your enquiry to the end of the probation period, you talk to the same person. No ticket system, no changing responsibilities.

Fairly recruited

Your facility pays for the placement, never the nurse. People who arrive without debt can focus on their work and stay out of conviction.

Honest when it does not fit

Better one profile less than a wrong hire. If someone does not fit you professionally or personally, we say so openly.

Arriving without debt means arriving to stay

Candidates pay us nothing, neither fees nor advance payments. The facility pays for the placement. This is what the employer pays principle and the requirements of the “Faire Anwerbung Pflege Deutschland” quality seal, which we follow, call for. It protects the people who come to you and your reputation as an employer.

How fair recruitment works with us

Where our candidates come from

Our focus is North Africa, especially Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt, plus other countries, for example in Latin America. We deliberately do not recruit from countries on the WHO safeguard list, which lack nurses themselves.

Frequently asked questions

What does the placement cost?

We discuss this personally, as it depends on how many positions you want to fill and whether you are looking for nurses or trainees. The fee is success-based: it only becomes due once a placement is made, i.e. with the employment or training contract, and is then paid in instalments over the following steps. For candidates, the placement is always free of charge.

How long does it take until arrival?

Expect about six to twelve months from signing the contract. Most of this time depends on the recognition authority and the embassy. Because our candidates already have German at least B1, there is no long language-learning phase. For trainees, the start depends on the nursing school’s intake date.

What happens if the visa is refused or a candidate withdraws before starting work?

We will then introduce one suitable replacement candidate at no additional fee. If you prefer not to, we refund the most recent instalment you paid. The details are set out in the placement contract.

What level of German do candidates have?

At least B1, proven by a certificate from Goethe, telc, ÖSD, TestDaF or ECL. Where the provider offers a verification service, we check the certificate there. Full recognition as a registered nurse usually requires B2. Nurses take this step in Germany while working in your facility.

Who takes care of accommodation and dealings with the authorities?

We help with finding accommodation and accompany the necessary appointments with the authorities after arrival, such as registration, the immigration office, health insurance and a bank account. If your facility can provide or arrange accommodation, the start is easier.

What happens if a nurse leaves in the first months?

We remain the point of contact for you and your new colleague until the end of the probation period and address difficulties early. If she still leaves during probation, the final part of our fee no longer applies. Instalments already paid are credited towards a replacement placement. The exact conditions are set out in the placement agreement.

Which countries do the candidates come from?

Mainly Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt, plus other countries, for example in Latin America. We do not recruit from countries on the WHO safeguard list.

Do you work throughout Germany?

Yes. We place candidates with care homes and hospitals throughout Germany.

Do you also place trainees?

Yes. We place young people with a school leaving certificate and German at least B1 who complete the three-year nursing training with you. You choose the nursing school as usual; we take care of documents and visa.

A few details are enough: type of facility, number of positions, nurse or trainee. We get back to you personally, clarify the details and introduce suitable profiles.
